1940s Alverno College sweatshirt with paint-splatters along the frontside. Contrasting collar, cuffs and waistband. Tag intact along neckline, however no longer legible. Sun-fading throughout. A boxy fit, which is very appropriate for the era. Worn and loved, with very minimal small holes and general wear throughout. Fun fact to note is that Alverno College, located in Milwaukee, is still open and is an all-girls college. Perhaps this sweatshirt belonged to an art major of the school.
